Mr. Holden is the author of over 600 magazine and newspaper articles appearing in national magazines such as Private Pilot, Plane & Pilot, Aviation & Business Journal, and World Airnews. He has been a commentator on the History Channel, and is the published author of 31 books:

The original founder of the DC-3/Dakota Historical Society, Mr. Holden's articles and photographs have also appeared in such national magazines as USAir, InFlight, Peterson's Photographics and others including the prestigious American Aviation Historical Society's Journal, Women in Aviation, Woman Pilot, Airport Press and Aviation.
